ION LANDS groups HOVA taxis with trains as the systems used for inter-district travel. The city’s large districts are freely explored once entered, but changing districts includes a loading screen.

The developer has not published taxi fares, pickup points, route restrictions or unlock conditions. A release guide will map stops and compare travel time with trains and boat routes.
Cloudpunk context
HOVAs are familiar technology in the city of Nivalis, which also appeared in Cloudpunk. Nivalis Nights is nevertheless designed to work as a standalone game.
